That makes the humans of BSG actually 'aliens' that grew out of present day Earth's culture transplanted to a distant string of habitable planets and bastardized/adapted into something completely new and yet somehow quite similar. I was more excited by all the things that seem to be clicking into place in terms of bringing the series to a close and answering all of our questions. I'm kind of glad that Starbuck doesn't end up being it because it just never seemed right for her to be one since she was so strong early in the series at the great anti-hero Cylon slayer.
